Episode 1 - Zandar's adventures in space

The original title to this series is "Zandar's Adventures in Space." However, the complete series (if I ever get around to it,) will be included in a book which will tentatively be titled "Zandar doesn't save the planet." The book will also include many chunks that fill in the blanks between the chapters below.

Chapter 1 "The Beginning of Zandar"
1998

This was actually the 3rd drawn of the series, though the original was written some time before on scrap paper while at my tedious job as customer service rep for the Sears tools catalog. (Inked by Ben Child.)

Chapter 2 "Recapture"
1993

Chapter 2 was drawn for the short-lived "Newcomer's Illustrated" comic book, based in Orem. The fact that this chapter actually appeared in the volume is a testament to how crappy the volume indeed was... notice the terrible rendering and disjointed plot line. (Though still funny of course.)

Chapter 3 "New Green Friends"
1993

Another chapter meant for publication in "Newcomer's Illustrated," however it was so incredibly awful that it wasn't even accepted. In this chapter Zandar meets Texas Bob and discovers more of Ralph's stupidity.

Chapter 4 "Escape to the Nth Power"
2002

Originally drawn as a storyboard for a 3D animation pilot. You'll notice the uniform structure of the panels, as they are made to represent the area of a movie screen. In this chapter Zandar continues to piss off the Algoraths, and finally escapes to Mars where he makes a startling discovery.
