The Story

Well, it all started in the summer of 91 (I think)... While on a family trip to Vancouver, me and cousin Joe LeBaron would sit in the back of my mom's Honda and draw stupid comics. Most of them were pretty awful, but one of them stood out in particualr as being pure inspirational genius. I don't remember which one that was, but another funny one was one of this kid named Zandar who was too weird to fit in with the neighborhood kids, but when abducted by aliens became the life of the party. The rest is history.

Actually, most of the comic idea was Joe's... he was the one who drew the first Zandar with his helmet. My only real contribution was naming him, and then adding the cocktail and cigarette for the final frame. Sadly I had to kill Joe and hide his remains so that nobody would ever discover this fact. But then I just started telling people. His parents were pretty upset.
